5. Once the inspection and assessment have been completed you should expect a detailed estimate of the damage as well as a diagram of your roof measurements. Also we will explain what has been paid for by the insurance company. Most companies use an estimating software called Xactimate to determine the fair market value of your roof repair or replacement.
6. Then we will execute a contract and determine the start date. Next we can discuss shingle types/color, gutter, siding and/or paint colors.
7. Before starting we will collect a payment of deductible and any upgrades if applicable. The first check may be small compared to the total amount of the roof. There are two factors that impact this: your deductible and the depreciation of your roof. Most home owners choose the Full Replacement Cost coverage type of policy versus the Actual Cash Value policy.
